Ajinkya Rahane who has been leading team Mumbai for the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 after being dropped from the Asia Cup 2018, has gotten back to business! As India is all set to lock horns with West Indies for two Test matches, five ODIs and three T20Is starting from October 4, the vice-captain was seen gearing up for the much-anticipated series. The right-hander was sweating it out in the nets and practised some drives. Check out the schedule for India vs West Indies.

Rahane was last seen in action for India in during the test series between India and England. Rahane would want to put his best foot forward against West Indies as he could not do too well in England. Out of 10 innings, Rahane could only score 257 runs. He made a couple of half-centuries and 81 runs as his highest score against England in the test series. India lost the test series by 4-1. However, Rahane has been doing really well in the domestic tournament. The test vice-captain of India was in the news for having scored an unbeaten knock of 79. Rahane kept up his form with a blistering knock of 148 runs. However, in the last match, he could just score 3 runs for Mumbai.
