Rain Stays Away in Ahmedabad As Gujarat Titans Knock Mumbai Indians Out To Make Place in IPL 2023 Final

A massive victory by Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 2 as they absolutely demolish Mumbai Indians and bag a victory by 62-runs. There is no rain interruption as before the match and once the game was commenced full quota of 40 overs could be played. GT faces CSK in the IPL 2023 final on Sunday, May 28.

Good news for the fans. After the inspection, the umpires has given a green signal for the start. Toss is scheduled at 7:45 PM and the match is scheduled to start from 8:00 PM. 

A playoff match can start without any loss of overs till 9:40 PM. The cut off time for a 5 over match is 11:56 pm. In case even that is not also possible, a Super Over can be organised at the latest from 12:50 AM. 

The umpires have take a look at the outfield and talked with the captains before delaying the toss. The rain has stopped and covers have come off. Next inspection is on 7:20 PM. 

Sudden rain has hit the Narendra Modi Stadium with some thunderstorm and lightning. The surface was covered for sometimes although the drizzle has lightened a little and the covers has come off. Toss has been delayed due to wet outfield while umpires trying to figure out a start time for the game.
