Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul’s controversy after the duo made misogynist comments on Koffee With Karan show has opened can of worms. We recently saw internet users dig out an old video of Rahul Dravid in which the former cricketer behaved uprightly with a young girl. The social media users compared the two videos and citied Dravid’s example of how cricketers should conduct themselves in the public. Now after the Pandya-Rahul controversy another video is going viral and it features none other Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli.
However, Kohli’s old video is going viral of all the wrong reasons. In the video, Kohli, who is being interviewed by Anusha Dandekar, can be heard that one of his blind dates lasted just five minutes as he found the girl was ‘ugly’. “When I saw the girl I ran away,” said Kohli.
Kohli further adds, “she was ugly, I am really sorry, but she was ugly.” One of the Twitter users who shared this old clip, wrote, “If Kohli said this in 2019: How much online outrage would it generate? For how long would the BCCI have banned him?” Did Kedar Jadhav Troll Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul After Koffee With Karan 6 Controversy? Well, Twitterati Thinks So

The video clip since then has gone viral with reactions pouring in at the rate of knots. A Twitter user, replying to the video wrote, “I've got no issues with this. No problem with what Pandya and Rahul said either. Lads are just facing the flak for the sad little outrage culture we live in today.” Another user wrote, “Virat is smart, hasn't disclosed his off field shenanigans in over a decade. Pandya did his in 40 mins.” Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul Get Support from Babul Supriyo, BJP MP Defends Cricketers in Ongoing Koffee With Karan 6 Controversy

After receiving the criticism for their behaviour on the famous talk show, both Pandya and Rahul were suspended by the BCCI. The duo was sent back home from Australia. The board recently named all-rounder Vijay Shankar and Shubman Gill as their replacements.
