The left-handed batsman smashed 52 off 26 balls in just his 2nd T20I game for Bangladesh. Other than Afif, Mosaddek Hossain also played a helpful knock of 30 runs in the match. Mosaddek scored the final two runs for Bangladesh after Afif lost his wicket to Neville Madziva in the 18th over. The match was affected by rains and reduced to 18 overs per side. Bangladesh Tri-Series 2019 started on Friday, September 13 with the first T20I game between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe are competing in the T20I cricket tournament.
