Regardless of the jersey Rashid Khan dons, the 19-year old is always the talk of the town. Whether it’s for Sunrisers Hyderabad or his national side, Rashid Khan’s performance has been praised by cricketing greats including Sachin Tendulkar. The spinner is currently playing for his national side and once again his bowling against Bangladesh in the third T20 match in Dehradun earned him praises from many. After winning the toss, Afghanistan elected to bat and put up a score of 145 runs. With wicket falling in quick succession, Bangladesh was in deep trouble when they lost 3 wickets o the score of 35.

However, it was Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah who jointly contributed 91 runs for the team and turned around the game into a nail-biting contest. In the last over, Bangladesh needed 9 runs to avoid a clean sweep. Rashid Khan was brought in and his performance helped Afghanistan defeat the opponents by 3-0. He scalped a wicket in the last over and helped Afghanistan clinch the series.

Harsha Bhogle on Twitter praised the youngster for his performance. He wrote, “Meanwhile @rashidkhan_19 has defended 9 off the last over to give Afghanistan a clean sweep over Bangladesh. Amazing result for Afghanistan and further proof of Rashid's phenomenal development.”

Rashid Khan responded to the tweet and wrote, “Thank you bro.”

Little did the spinner know that his reply would invite trolls who would point out the age difference between the two. Check out the tweets:

“Bro? More like Sir,” read a tweet.

“Bro ? Man @bhogleharsha is 50+ and you're under 20 . And most important he is legend in commentary . next time please take care of this,” wrote a netizen.

“Uske real age ke hisaab se bro sahi hai 😂😂,” read a post.

Another Internet user opined, “That's the proof that u r not 19 years old.”

Talking about Rashid Khan, the youngster will also be a part of the one-off test match between India and Afghanistan. The match is scheduled to happen on June 14 in Bangalore. He also featured in the World XI for a charity T20 match against West Indies which happened at Lord’s stadium on May 31st.
