Afghanistan will remember this moment for a long time to come as they have entered the semifinals of a World Cup for the first time! In a group consisting of Australia and Bangladesh, it is Afghanistan who join India in the semifinals and they deserve to be in this position, especially after such an inspired bowling effort! With the bat, it seemed that they did not get enough runs on the board but Rashid Khan and co kept striking at regular intervals to ensure they eventually got over the line. Bangladesh were in the semis race but only until 12.1 overs. A magical night for Afghanistan in St Vincent as they now head to the semis to take on South Africa in Trinidad and Tobago.
