In response, West Indies were all-out for 110 to a tough bowling attack by Afghan players, as the latter bagged victory by 29 runs through DLS method.

Afghanistan vs West Indies– 14th June 2018 – Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia - Match abandoned without a ball being bowled

The match was the third and the final match of 3-match ODI series between both the countries. However, it was affected by heavy rains and finally abandoned. The series tied 1-1.

This was the 2nd ODI of Afghanistan's tour of West Indies. The match was won by West Indies by 4 wickets after wicket-keeper Shai Hope scored unbeaten 48 to successfully chase down the 136-run target set by Afghanistan in first innings.

WI could only reach 149/10 in 44.4 overs, with none of their batsmen even scoring a fifty.
