Former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist took a sly dig over Harbhajan Singh's Test hat-trick in 2001. The former Australian wicket-keeper intended to says that lack of DRS system during that time in cricket was the reason behind Harbhajan’s hat-trick. The match was played during Australia's tour of India in 2001 at Eden Garden’s Kolkata. On Saturday, Jasprit Bumrah took a hat-trick during India vs West Indies 2nd Test in Kingston. A Twitter user with account name ‘@piyushgilly’ shared a video of the hat-trick taken by the Indian spinner in 2001. Retweeting the post, Retweeting the post, the former Australian wicket-keeper wrote, “No DRS”. He also attached a crying emoji with the comment. Harbhajan claimed a hat-trick during the 1st innings of Australia’s batting. He dismissed Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne in three consecutive deliveries. Gilchrist possibly intended to say that he was not out during the match. Harbhajan’s ball had hit him on the pads and on-field umpire had declared Gilchrist leg-before-wicket (LBW).

After reading the tweet, Australian and Indian cricket fans started fighting with each other on the dismissals. While some Australian fans said that there were two wrong decisions, India fans talked about some other incidents when wrong decisions were given in Australia's favour during matches against India. The 2nd Test between India and Australia was a historical match as India bagged victory even after facing a follow-on. India made 657-7 in the second innings of the match. VVS Laxman hit a swashbuckling 282 run-knock while Rahul Dravid scored 180 runs in the match. India were given a follow-on after making just 171 runs in the first innings in reply to Australia's 445/10. But Indian team bounced back and grabbed the victory from the hands of visitors Australia. The match is a historic achievement for India in Tests.
