The ninth edition of the Under-19 Asia Cup is set to kick off later in the month as the United Arab Emirates will host the competition. The 2021 u19 Asia Cup will be played from December 23, 2021 to December 31, 2021 as a total of eight teams will battle to be crowned as the new champions. A total of eight teams – 5 full ICC Members, 3 Qualifiers – will participate in the 50-over tournament as they will be divided into two groups with four sides in each classification. The last edition of the Under 19 Asia Cup was held in 2019 and the competition returns after a year’s absence amid the coronavirus pandemic. India are the defencing and record champions – lifting the trophy seven out of eight times – and will be aiming to exert their dominance in the tournament this year as well.
