Guess who joined the party in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 in taking the best catch of all-time in the ongoing tournament? Yes, it is Mr. 360, AB de Villiers! The South African cricketer playing for Royal Challengers took a physics-defying catch to dismiss Alex Hales, English batsman playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. The thrilling video of De Villiers appearing out of nowhere to catch a blinder is dubbed as the Superman Catch and rightly so. AB de Villiers' glorious catching moment adds to the list in IPL that has seen some stupendous, physics-defying, and spectacular catches in its 10 years history.

The stupendous catch by acrobatic RCB batsman took place on the last ball of the 8th over. It was when Alex Hales had started to look dangerous. It was Moeen Ali's first over in the match. England vs England. That's the beauty of IPL. Hales rocked back to dispatch the ball over the mid-wicket region, but of nowhere, ABD appears, and you can see for yourself, what happened in the video below:

When it seemed all going well for the SunRisers Hyderabad, it is then a blinder of a catch from ABD Villers turned the course of the match. Till then, the match was evenly poised and it looked like Alex Hales and Kane Williamson would run away with the match.

With the win, RCB has survived to fight another day, as their Playoffs hopes are still alive. SRH continues to lead the IPL Points Table. RCB's win has opened the qualification spot for 5 other teams. It will be interesting to see which team eventually qualifies for the IPL Playoffs 2018.
