Virat Kohli took a stunning catch during the 3rd India vs Australia ODI at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to dismiss a well set Marnus Labuschagne. The Indian skipper dived full length towards his left and produced a blinder. Everyone on the field was amazed by Kohli’s magnificent effort and the wicket also proved to be a turning point in the match. The 31-year old also received a lot of praises on social including the cricketer turned commentator Aakash Chopra. However, a social media user took a sly dig at Chopra by calling him a ‘Chamcha’ (sycophant) of Kohli for just praising the Indian captain and not Manish Pandey’s sensational one-handed catch during the second ODI of the series. The former Indian cricketer wasn’t amused by the fan’s response and he decided to give it back to the troller. India vs Australia Live Cricket Score 3rd ODI Match.
“What. A. Catch. Which followed a couple of outstanding saves that kept Marnus on strike,” wrote the former Indian opener on the micro-blogging website. A Twitter user replied by saying “Hello Mr chamcha of virat Kohli why you not tweeted when pandeyji takes a superb catch in last match.” However, the comment didn’t go down well with the 42-year old and he shut up the troll in an utmost witty manner. “Sorry. I pledge to tweet on every great catch taken in 2020. Get a life, dude. I was on commentary when Pandey ji took that catch and called it. And Praised it. I don’t tweet while commentating,” wrote the 10-Test veteran in reply.
