7-Year-Old Aussie Leg Spinner Archie Schille Added in Tim Paine’s Squad for the Boxing Day Test at MCG

Tim Paine and company have added a seven-year-old leg-spinner named Archie Schille for the third Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Tim Paine and company have added a seven-year-old leg-spinner named Archie Schille for the third Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Archie will be the 15th member of the squad and had already practised with the Australian team before the first Test match in Adelaide. Australian captain Tim Paine confirmed the inclusion of Archi in the squad when the two captains went to BUPA Family Day at Yarra Park. Virat Kohli and Tim Paine Come Together for Indian Summer Festival at the Yarra Park Ahead of Boxing Day Test at MCG.

As per reports, Archie was informed about the decision in October itself when Australia was facing Pakistan. The kid even told Justin Langer that he could get the wicket of Virat Kohli.  In a talk with Cricket.com.au, it was also revealed that Archie wants to captain Australia. As of now, the series is levelled on 1-1. Both teams would be surely hoping to win the next match at the MCG. Ahead of the match, Ravi Shashtri addressed the press and spoke about numerous issues including Virat Kohli's on-field behaviour, exclusion of Ravindra Jadeja and much more. He also said that the opening order is a big concern for the visitors. "It's obvious and that responsibility and accountability has to be taken by the top order. They've got the experience, they've got the exposure over these last few years to get out there and deliver. It's about how strong you are in the mind," he added.
