Tuesday, November 13, saw the launch of the CWC19 Official Resale Ticket Platform and gives fans an opportunity to sell any unwanted Cricket World Cup 2019 tickets to fellow fans at face value.

The ICC has put together a step-by-step guide for anyone who wants to put any of their tickets up for sale on the Official Resale Ticket Platform. Below are the steps:

1. Customers are directed to login to their CWC19 ticketing account.

2. Click on the Ticket Resale Option which will appear on the top of the tab of ICC's ticket page.

3. All of the tickets which will be shown on the Ticket Resale Page are eligible for resale posting. Customers wanting to sell their tickets are advised to select the ticket which they want to sell by clicking in the box. Proceed by clicking  the Submit option.

4. Your ticket will be available for resale once the submission has been "authorised" by the ticketing team of Cricket World Cup from November 20.

5. The customer will receive an automatic refund if the ticket is sold. The refund will be credited to customers' account (which was used for the transaction while buying the ticket originally) within 14 days. This completes the process.

6. In case the ticket remains unsold, the customer can reclaim it within the 14 day period by selecting the "withdraw" option.

The schedule of the World Cup 2019 was announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) which will be held in England from May 31 – 14 July. The Oval on May 30 will host the first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between England and South Africa. 2015 World Cup Winner Australia will face Afghanistan on June 1 in Bristol.
