It took Conor McGregor just 40 minutes to Knock Out Donald Cerrone in the UFC 246 (Ultimate Fighting Challenge) main event in Las Vegas. Making a return to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) after 15 months, McGregor looked at his supreme best as he shell-shocked his opponent via TKO. “I changed levels and came up into it – it was a good shot, made history here tonight. I’m the first fighter in UFC history to secure knockouts (in three divisions) at featherweight, lightweight and welterweight,” McGregor said. This is McGregor’s first win at the Octagon since November 2016. Back then the Irish defeated Eddie Alvarez to become the first UFC fighter to hold two championship belts at the same time. Subsequently, McGregor lost to Floyd Mayweather in 2017 in a boxing match. He was knocked out by Mayweather, who took his winning streak to 50 after the win.And then, Khabib Nurmagomedov, lightweight champion, in October 2018.
