The 2018 Summer Youth Olympics is commonly known as Bueno Aires 2018 is held in Argentina between October 6 – 18, 2018. All the action will take place across seven locations in Argentina. The Youth Olympics takes place every four years. With about 206 nations participating in the mega-event this year, the Bueno Aires 2018 will have an equal number of male and female number of participants from the age group of 14-18. Pandi, is the official mascot of the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. The mage-event will have the athletes contesting in 32 events. Four new sports have been added on the Olympic stage include roller sports, dance sport, karate and sport climbing. The Green Park will witness events like Triathlon, Cycling, Beach Volley, Equestrian, Tennis and Futsal. Olympic Park will host the athletics, Archery, Swimming, Diving, Hockey, Modern Pentathlon, Boxing, Gymnastics, Judo, Taekwondo, Weightlifting, Karate, Wrestling, Futsal, Fencing and the Closing Ceremony. Whereas, the Urban Park has Rowing, Canoeing, Basketball (3 on 3), Cycling, Sport Climbing and Dancesport. The Techno Park will host Table Tennis, Futsal, Badminton, Shooting, Archery and Beach Handball. BMX, Roller speed skating, Sailing, Rugby Sevens and Golf will take place at various other stadiums. A contingent of 47 members from India will be hoping to win laurels for the country. Lausanne, Switzerland will host the next winter version of the Youth Olympic Games in 2020.
