- Alex Sarr: One of the top prospects and common choices on most of the mock drafts is the new Frenchman in the town – Alex Sarr. The 7-footer is a hot prospect and could blend well with the back-court pairing of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray. He could complement Clint Capela in the paint area also. Hardly any doubt that Alex Sarr will be the top prospect for the NBA Draft this season.
- Donovan Clingan: Another towering presence on the court. The youngster from UConn is seen as perfect for rim protection and second-chance opportunities. Winning two NCAA Titles in his sophomore year strengthens his resume and can be seen as a replacement for Kristaps Porzingis the Wizards traded.
- Nikola Topic: Time to cash in the draft picks for the Houston Rockets. James Harden’s deal handed the Rockets multiple draft picks and one of them is now 3rd overall pick of the 2024 NBA Draft. Interestingly, they have two prospects to choose from – Rob Dillingham, an offensive-minded guard who will fit well in Gregg Popovich’s system, or they can add Stephen Castle, a young combo guard providing versatility to their lineup.
- Matas Buzelis/ Cody Williams: Detroit Pistons could land one of the best talent’ in the wings area from the draft. Matas Buzelis and Cody Williams are versatile forwards from the class and could prove effective alongside Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren. Franchise player Cade Cunningham would be looking for an offensive partner who could transform this team into a playoff contender.
- Bronny James: Yes he is mentioned in the mix as LeBron James’ son is putting up efforts to make it into the NBA this season. But he won't be picked in the first round either if stats performances and reports are considered. But LeBron James Jr has a chance to play with his father for the Lakers as they could use him to keep LBJ happy and also reignite their G-League team.
