Ahead of Pro Kabaddi League 2018 auctions, Bengaluru Bulls retained skipper Rohit Kumar. Like most of the other franchises, Bulls will be eyeing their maiden PKL title. The best finish for the Bengaluru Bulls came in the second edition when they finished runners-up after losing to U Mumba in the final. In the inaugural season, Bulls finished fourth. In third and fourth season, the Bengaluru-based franchise had a poor outing and finished on seventh and sixth respectively. Meanwhile, at the PKL 2018 auctions, the Bulls snapped the Korean duo of Dong Ju Hong and Gyung Tae Kim in the foreigners category. The Bulls managed to pick well-known raider Kashiling Adake at a steal price of INR 32 lakhs. With Rohit and Kashiling in the ranks, the Bulls’ raiding unit looks impressive. However, the defence is one weak link in the Bulls team. But the side will be hopeful that those picked leave an impression.
From the New Young Players (NYP) category, Bengaluru Bulls managed to scalp Harish Naik, Sumit Singh and Amit Sheoran. The Bulls will be eager to do well this time around and make it to the playoffs.
