Saina Nehwal Hospitalised due to an Acute Stomach Pain, Plans to Skip 2019 Swiss Open

Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal who was last seen in action during the recently concluded All England Championships 2019 shared a piece of sad news for the fans.

Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal who was last seen in action during the recently concluded All England Championships 2019 shared a piece of sad news for the fans. Nehwal informed that she was suffering from an acute stomach pain throughout All England tournament and is to be hospitalised for the same reason. The doctors said that the 31-year-old is suffering from Acute Gastroenteritis with mild pancreatitis. The badminton ace further said that she plans to skip the Swiss Open 2019 for the same. Diagnosed with Acute Gastroenteritis, Saina Advised Hospitalisation.

Saina wrote on Twitter, “So some sad news .. was really going through acute stomach pain from last Monday.. managed to play few matches in All England with lot of pain ... and decided to skip swiss open and come back to India and find out the issue and I found out it’s Acute Gastroenteritis with mild pancreatitis and the doctors have recommended me to get admitted and hopefully I recover soon out of it.”

Indian golfer Sharmila Nicollet sent good wishes to the ace shuttler.

Ruthvika Shivani also posted wishes for Saina.

Meanwhile, Parupalli Kashyap is already in Switzerland for the championship. He was seen having a time of his life at the Engelberg Titlis which is a skiing resort in Switzerland. Kashyap posted a few pictures and videos of himself enjoying in Switzerland. Meanwhile, Saina was knocked out of All England Championships on Friday where she lost to World No.1 Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan in the quarter-finals at the Birmingham Arena.
