Their announcement about tying the knot was a surprise as they were reportedly going to marry on December 16 (Sunday). Nevertheless, the date serves as Saina Nehwal and P Kashyap’s wedding reception. The star couple chose to be dressed up by none other than everyone’s favourite designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee for their special occasion. For the reception held in the couple’s home city, Hyderabad, Saina and P Kashyap decided to step out in a colour-co-ordinated ensemble. They are wearing blue velvet traditional outfits to meet and greet the guests. Sabyasachi has given the lowdown on the bride and groom’s outfits in detail. He states Saina to be wearing a rich indigo velvet lehenga, intricately embroidered with zardosi, appliqué, pearls and crystals, for her wedding reception. For the wedding, the couple had decided to keep it chic and classy. While Saina wore a powder-blue and baby pink lehenga from VAISHALI couture, P Kashyap went for pastel pink asymmetrical kurta, pyjama and waistcoat. They had shared two photographs from their wedding with a same caption, “Best match of my life...#justmarried.” The couple tied the knot after being in a relationship for over a decade. They had first met in 2005 at the P Gopichand badminton academy for training.
