Andre Emmett, a former pro basketball player, was found dead on Tuesday morning. The 37-year-old former NBA player was shot dead by two miscreants near his home in Dallas, Texas, United States. Police revealed about the attack in detail. Both the attackers approached Emmet near his home. He was sitting in his car when the two men approached him.
The men had a handgun and an altercation followed between the attackers and Emmett. As Emmett tried to run away, they shot him. A passer-by came to the rescue and called 911. However, Emmett was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. Emmett, a former American professional basketball player, played basketball for many teams in his career. He was selected in the second round of the 2004 NBA draft and had a brief career with Memphis Grizzlies and New Jersey Nets.
