After 2018 Asian Games, Indonesia to Bid for 2032 Summer Olympics
Indonesia are looking to host the 2032 Summer Olympics after successful hosting of 2018 Asian Games.
Jakarta, September 4: Indonesia will bid to host the 2032 Summer Olympics, following its successful organisation of the 2018 Asian Games. The Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Puan Maharani said the government will officially submit a proposal for hosting the world's largest sports event, reports Xinhua news agency.
"President Joko Widodo has officially announced that Indonesia will take part in bidding for the 2032 Olympics," she said. India's Medal Winners at Asian Games 2018: List of Indian Medalists at Jakarta Palembang 2018 Asiad.
The reason, Puan asserted, is that Indonesia successfully hosted the 2018 Asian Games which concluded last Sunday.
