Jakarta, August 18: In a positive development, North Korea and South Korea walked together at the opening ceremony of the Asian Games 2018 at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) main stadium in Jakarta on Saturday. The sporting event will begin on August 19. South Korea and North Korea will unite under a Korean flag. South Korea was runner-up of the 2014 games.
Renowned Indonesian singers, Anggun, along with Raisa, Tullus, Edo Kondologit, Putri Ayu, Fatin, GAC, Kamasean and Via Vallen will perform at the opening ceremony. Meanwhile, Kuwait will use its own flag instead of the flag of the Olympic Council of Asia as earlier planned. Neeraj Chopra, Commonwealth Games gold medallist, will be India's flag-bearer at the Asian Games 2018 opening ceremony.

Sony Pictures Networks holds the broadcast rights of Asian Games 2018 in India. So, the opening ceremony of Asian Games 2018 will be available on its channels- Sony TEN 2 and Sony TEN 2 HD.
