2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Highlights Day 8: Look Back at Major Headlines, Match Results, Updated Medals Tally

India had a mixed bag of performances at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 on Saturday, July 31. While discus thrower Kamalpreet Kaur and the Indian women's hockey team made it to the next rounds, shuttler PV Sindhu, archer Atanu Das and boxer Pooja Rani suffered losses which ended their respective campaigns in Tokyo. However, Sindhu still has a chance to return home with a medal when she faces China He Bingjiao in the bronze medal match on Sunday, August 1. Check India's medal tally at Olympics.

Murali Sreeshankar fails to qualify for the finals of the Long Jump event. he finished 25th out of 31 athletes.
