In a cricket frenzy nation, it has always been a challenge for other sports to flourish and gain limelight. The recent statistics from BARC also highlight the fact that people are crazy about cricket, even in the middle of the ongoing 2018 FIFA World Cup matches.
According to the BARC Data for June 27, the day when India took on Ireland in the T20 series opener, the match garnered 8.1 million impressions. On that particular day, there were four FIFA World Cup matches, following is the viewership of each of the games.
Korea Vs Germany garnered the maximum views of 3.8 million impressions, followed by Serbia Vs Brazil with 3.5 million impressions. The other two matches of the day- Switzerland Vs Costa Rica got 0.2 million impressions and Mexico Vs Sweden saw 0.7 million impressions.
