Wrestler Komal who has just entered her teens almost a couple of years ago has made India proud bagging the second gold medal in Cadet Wrestling World Championships 2019 at the tournament going on in Sofia, Bulgaria. She went on to beat USA’s Sterling Blayke Dias at the score of 4-4 in the 40 kgs category.

This is the second gold medal for India.
Prior to this, it was Sonam Malik who won the title for India as she defeated Xiang Binbin of China by scoring a four-point takedown in the second period for a 7-1 victory in the 65 kg category. The good news was shared on social media by All India Sports. Check out the tweet below:
The first final of the day came in the lightest female weight category, the 40kg, which was won by India's Komal Komal as she beat Sterling Blayke Dias of the US by pinning her with the score at 4-4. Talking about Sonam, the wrestler has won three medals at world championships, Sonam also has one silver and two bronze medal at the Asian level.
