A viral video has sparked controversy over the authenticity of the Yuntai Mountain Waterfall, China's tallest waterfall. A hiker recently discovered a large pipe supplying water to the waterfall, raising questions about its natural origins. The video, which quickly went viral across social media, shows the pipe channeling water directly to the waterfall. This revelation has led to widespread speculation and debate among the public. In response, local authorities have issued a clarification, stating that the pipe was installed to maintain water flow during dry periods and ensure the waterfall remains a year-round attraction. They have said that the waterfall's natural structure remains unchanged and that the water supply is a measure to enhance visitor experience.
