In a statement, the news organization said it will no longer post content from its official accounts, describing X as a "toxic media platform." The decision was largely influenced by the platform's coverage of the US presidential election, which the Guardian says highlighted its ongoing concerns. "We have been considering this for a while, given the often disturbing content promoted on the site," the Guardian added. The outlet also criticised Musk for using his influence to shape political discourse on the platform.
