The possibility of the start of World War 3 seems to loom over across the globe as the Israeli military launched "precise strikes" early Saturday, October 26, on military targets in Iran's Tehran and Shiraz. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that they are conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran in response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the State of Israel. "Like every other sovereign country in the world, the State of Israel has the right and the duty to respond," IDF post read. In the video, an IDF official is heard saying that the regime in Iran and its proxies in the region have been relentlessly attacking Israel since October 7. "We will do whatever necessary to defend the State of Israel and the people of Israel," he said. Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly shut its airspace amid the airstrikes by Israel. It is also learned that Iranian fighter jets have taken off from their bases in the country's west, thus indicating a potential war with Israel. News agency The Spectator Index also reported that blasts occurred near the headquarters of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Iran-Israel War: West Asia Conflict Escalates As IDF Starts ‘Precise Strikes’ on Iranian Military Targets in Response to ‘Relentless Attacks’ Since October 7 (Watch Video).
