A woman driver had a narrow escape on Tuesday when a piece of metal rod crashed into her windshield in  Gray's Maine Turnpike in the US. "On Tuesday morning State Police responded to a crash near Mile 61 on the Maine Turnpike in Gray," Maine State Police wrote on X.
