US Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted CNN's invitation to participate in a second debate on October 23, her campaign announced on Saturday. Harris urged former President Donald Trump to join. Harris’ campaign team highlighted that the debate will follow the same format as a previous CNN debate in June, which Trump attended and praised. "Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to this debate," said campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon, referencing Trump's favourable comments about the network's moderators and format at that time. The debate is expected to focus on key issues ahead of the 2024 U.S. presidential election. US Presidential Elections 2024: Kamala Harris Says She Is Different From Joe Biden Because She Offers ‘New Generation of Leadership’.
