A student at the University of Bristol was shocked to find a live scorpion inside her clothing parcel from fast-fashion company Shein. Sofia Alonso-Mossinger, 18, opened the package containing boots and initially thought the scorpion was a toy, only to realise it was alive. With the help of her flatmates, the venomous creature was safely transferred into a plastic container using kitchen tongs. Zoology student Oliver James took charge of moving the scorpion, which they gave water and shelter before contacting animal experts. China-based Shein is investigating the incident. Alonso-Mossinger described the experience as “pretty scary,” but the group managed to handle the situation without harm. UK PM Keir Starmer Thrown Out of Pub?
