The attack forced Rahul Ananda, his wife, and their teenage son to flee their home. Ananda, the frontman of the popular folk band ‘Joler Gaan,’ had his 140-year-old house in Dhaka’s cultural hub frequently visited by the music community for various events throughout the year.
