Pfizer, a US-based pharmaceutical giant, reportedly laid off hundreds of employees in North Carolina. According to a report by Business North Carolina, Pfizer layoffs would impact about 210 employees. Following this, the pharmaceutical company will shut down its Nash County and Lee County facilities. The report mentioned that 60 workers in the Rocky Mount facility located in Nash County will be affected by the layoffs due to the shutdown.
