A shocking incident has come to light from Italy where the statue of Mahatma Gandhi was allegedly vandalised by pro-Khalistanis. According to news reports, the bust of Mahatma Gandhi, fondly called as Bapu and also known as Father of the Nation in India, was vandalised a few hours after the inauguration. Notably, the vandalism of the statue comes ahead of the G7 summit in Italy, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Besides vandalising the bust of Mahatma Gandhi, pro-Khalistan also made graffiti on the statue and wrote a reference to Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
