A woman in China executed one of the most dramatic revenge stunts in recent history against employees at a Louis Vuitton outlet, following mistreatment during a previous visit. The wealthy woman, known as Xiaomayouren, shared her story on a Chinese social media platform, alleging that she was insulted by the store’s staff in June at the LV outlet in StarLight Place shopping centre in Chongqing. The employees reportedly behaved in a 'condescending manner' while she was browsing through the items. Xiaomayouren claimed that she had carried Hermes bag on her arm (an expensive luxury brand) but the salespeople overlooked it and rolled eyes at her. Upset by the experience, she left the store and filed a complaint with the brand's headquarters. Frustrated by the lack of response and growing increasingly agitated, she decided to devise her own plan and revisited the store two months later. She came back with her personal assistant and her friend and tried on some clothes before telling a salesperson that they would be purchasing them. She then delivered stash of cash amounting to 600,000 Yuan, which they took over two hours to count. Amid all these, the woman informed that she had changed her mind and walked out of the store.
