According to a leaked conversation, an Air India cabin crew member was allegedly sexually assaulted at the Radisson Red Hotel in Heathrow, London, on the night of August 15. The attack occurred around 1:30 a.m. when an intruder entered the victim's room while she was sleeping. Reportedly, the assailant used a clothes hanger to attack her and dragged her across the floor as she attempted to flee. Her cries for help alerted colleagues in adjacent rooms, who quickly intervened and restrained the intruder until hotel staff arrived. The attacker was arrested, and the incident is now under investigation. The survivor has been taken to a hospital and is returning to Mumbai. Confirming the news in a press statement, Air India has expressed deep concern, offering support and professional counselling to the crew members while coordinating with local police and hotel management. Reports indicate previous complaints about security lapses at the hotel, including poorly lit corridors and unmanned reception areas. Air India Express Reverses Termination of 25 Crew Members After Reaching Agreement, Reports.
