A 31-year-old man from Fukushima prefecture has been jailed for two years for secretly filming over 1,000 women bathing in hot springs across Japan. The man used cameras hidden in fake rocks to record women without their consent. He was arrested in May after one of the women at a hot spring in Yamagata prefecture noticed strange reflections in a rock and discovered a spy camera embedded in it. After reporting the incident, police retrieved the man-made rock and arrested the suspect when he returned to retrieve the device. Authorities later uncovered evidence of the man’s extensive recordings over several months, leading to his conviction. Voyeurism in West Bengal: Man Caught Red-Handed Recording Video of Woman in Bathroom in Malda, Arrested.
