A gold-plated silver crown, gifted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple in Bangladesh’s Satkhira, was stolen on Thursday afternoon. The crown, presented during Modi’s visit in 2021, was taken shortly after the temple priest left following worship. CCTV footage captured a man stealing the valuable crown, leading to an ongoing investigation. India has expressed concern over the theft and urged the Bangladesh government to recover the stolen crown and bring the culprit to justice. Police are currently analysing the CCTV footage to identify the suspect.
