Since September 23, 2021, when she was just seven months old, Ariha Shah has been living in foster care in Germany. Dhara and Bhavesh, Ariha's parents, were accused of abusing her at the time by German authorities. While the parents of the youngster are now pleading with the Indian government for assistance in the custody dispute, the Berlin court has stated that its decision to keep baby Ariha Shah apart from her Indian parents is in the "best interest of the child."
