Eight climate activists were arrested by German Police on Saturday, May 18, for trespassing and breaching the security perimeter of Munich airport. Their actions resulted in the cancellation of approximately 60 flights and caused disruption and inconvenience to travellers. Reportedly, six of these activists affixed themselves to a runway, causing disruptions.
