According to AFP, France has been the Chinese app in New Caledonia and declared a state of emergency. The development comes after violent protests erupted against electoral reforms, killing one police officer and three others in New Caledonia. It must be noted that New Caledonia is a French overseas territory located hundreds of miles off Australia's eastern coast.
