After a huge 6.8-magnitude earthquake shook Morocco late on Friday, people fled their houses in a state of terror. The earthquake led to power outages and structural damage. According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake struck around 11:11 pm (2211 GMT) at a depth of 18.5 km, 44 miles (71 kilometres) southwest of Marrakesh. The Spectator reports that the earthquake in Morocco has already claimed the lives of at least 151 individuals and injured hundreds more.
