An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 hit Western Afghanistan on October 11, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ)said. The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles), GFZ said. There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property due to the fresh tremors.
