Authorities in China stated on Tuesday that a city has started a search operation to find several crocodiles that fled after recent flooding ravaged the area. Last week, a typhoon caused flooding in Hong Kong and other regions of southern China with its constant, heavy rains. A lake at a commercial crocodile farm in Guangdong province overflowed as a result of downpours, allowing over 70 creatures to escape, according to local media. Responders in red uniforms were shown exploring flooded fields in rescue boats in a video posted by the state-sponsored Beijing News. More pictures revealed a number of two-metre-long scaly reptile creatures laying on the road, their terrifying jaws taped together.
