A 25-year-old Indian-origin man identified as Ramanpreet Singh was recently arrested in Canada's Mississauga for allegedly attempting to flee police and driving over their vehicles in a stolen car. The alleged incident is said to have occurred on Tuesday, September 3, when Peel police received inputs about a suspicious vehicle in the area of Westwood Mall near Goreway Drive and Etude Drive in Mississauga. It is reported that cops were alerted about a person in a Ford Bronco possessing stolen property and weapons. A video surfaced online shows police surrounding the vehicle at Tim Horton’s drive-thru as Ramanpreet Singh drives the stolen car over two police vehicles. The clip also shows a police officer standing with a gun pointed at the car's window to coerce Singh to surrender, who pays no heed. After the incident, Singh was arrested on multiple charges.
