In a shocking incident in California, 41-year-old Joseph Brandon Gerdvil is facing double homicide charges after allegedly decapitating his parents, Antoinette, 79, and Ronald, 77, on July 9. The gruesome crime took place at their home in a mobile home community in San Juan Capistrano. Gerdvil reportedly sent graphic images of the mutilated bodies to a cousin, who alerted authorities. When police arrived, they found the elderly couple's bodies, along with their chihuahua, inside the home. Gerdvil was later spotted driving a golf cart, where he confronted officers and was shot five times after charging at them with a metal object. Despite his injuries, Gerdvil began singing love songs to the officers as they tended to his wounds.
