Brooklyn became an epicenter of rainstorm as streets and subways flooded under more than a half-foot of rain. Streets were quickly inundated as the rising rainfall left several cars submerged and trash bins were seen floating in the flood water.
All of New York City's five boroughs were placed under Flash Flood Warnings on Friday, as torrential rains flooded streets and subway stations, causing massive system-side disruptions to day to day life. Impacts were especially felt in Brooklyn, where nearly 7 inches of rain had fallen by midday. Brooklyn became an epicenter of rainstorm as streets and subways flooded under more than a half-foot of rain. Streets were quickly inundated as the rising rainfall left several cars submerged and trash bins were seen floating in the flood water. At the Laguardia airport, many flights were delayed and cancelled. Travellers were forced to walk barefoot as the airport was completely flooded. Gov.
