William CC Kemp-Neal, a 30-year-old Bronx Assistant District Attorney, resigned after being confronted by a vigilante group for allegedly attempting to meet a young boy he communicated with online for sex. The group, Dads Against Predators, posted a video showing Kemp-Neal being confronted and chased through an underground parking area. The video quickly went viral, causing widespread outrage. In the video, men can be seen asking Kemp-Neal if he was "Marcus" before he attempted to flee. The group caught and subdued him, shouting, "Excuse me, everybody, this man right here came to meet a 13-year-old boy." Kemp-Neal, who primarily handled assault, harassment, and child endangerment cases, was also assaulted during the confrontation. Despite the public confrontation, the New York Post reports that police have not filed any charges against Kemp-Neal.
