A fire broke out at the Alpitronics company’s warehouse in the city of Bolzano, in Italy's South Tyrol province on Wednesday, May 8, at around 9:20 am, according to reports from the local media. The fire department declared at noon that it had "largely controlled the fire" and had stopped it from moving to adjacent industrial area. The cause of the fire remains known. The smoke cloud from the fire was so thick that it forced the closure of the airspace over Bolzano.
