Besides Musk, Enoque Marubo, the leader of the Marubo tribe, also debunked the fake news that people in his community got addicted to porn. Enoque, who brought Starlink to his tribe's villages, also said that the claims that people of the Marubo tribe got addicted to porn were unfounded and untrue. He further said that the alleged claims reflected a prejudiced ideological current that disrespected their autonomy and identity.
